United Aircraft Corporation Delivers Batch of Su-30SM2 Fighters and Yak-130 Training Aircraft to the Ministry of Defense

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of upgraded Su-30SM2 fighters, as well as Yak-130 combat training aircraft, to the Ministry of Defense. This was reported by "Interfax," citing the manufacturer's press service.
As specified by the corporation, the aircraft were built by the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The plant has already begun production of the next batch of aircraft for the Aerospace Forces (VKS) under the 2024 program.
"The aviation equipment underwent the necessary ground and flight tests and has been dispatched to its service location," the statement said.
The Su-30SM2 fighters are distinguished by a greater range of air target detection and the presence of modern high-precision missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of several hundred kilometers. The Yak-130 combat trainer is the basic aircraft for the basic and advanced training of VKS Russia pilots.
