In the United Kingdom, a Victorian-era vampire hunter's kit has been put up for auction. As reported by Daily Mail.
The items designed for the destruction of blood-sucking undead are stored in a large antique chest made in the shape of a Bible. Inside there is a box with a small pistol, a brass powder flask, and a miniature spyglass. In another compartment of the "Bible" are a real Bible, a crucifix, rosary beads, a flask for holy water, candle holders, a hammer, and a stake.
It is believed that this vampire hunting kit was manufactured in the 19th century but was assembled in a Bible-shaped chest at the beginning of the 20th century. On the chest lid is a nearly faded inscription: "Miss I and F. Willets". The current owner of the artifact believes that it previously belonged to an American film actress. Experts expect the vampire hunter's kit to be sold at auction for 3000-4000 British pounds (about 343 to 457 thousand rubles).
