Six Russians Enter Top-50 of NHL's Best Young Players
Russians Svechnikov, Michkov, and Mintyukov Among Top-50 Young NHL Players

Six Russian players have made it into the top-50 of the best young players in the National Hockey League (NHL), according to the list compiled by Canadian portal TSN.
The highest-ranking Russian is Carolina Hurricanes' forward Andrei Svechnikov, who secured the 12th position in the ranking. Four places below him is Matvei Michkov, a forward from Sochi drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Other Russians who made the list are Pavel Mintyukov (34th), Alexander Nikishin (39th), Dmitry Simashev (46th), and Yaroslav Askarov (47th). Mintyukov and Askarov are playing in the NHL, while Nikishin and Simashev, drafted by NHL clubs, are currently playing in Russia.
The ranking includes players who were under 24 years old at the start of the current season. The list is topped by Canadian forward of the Chicago Blackhawks, Connor Bedard.
