Former Wagner PMC Fighter Detained for Assassination Attempt on a Police Officer

A former member of the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC) was detained for an assassination attempt on a police officer. This information was reported on Monday, December 11, by the Baza Telegram channel.

According to the publication, the detainee had planted an explosive device at the entrance of the police officer's home. The police officer timely noticed the unprimed charge near his home. After the police officer reported the unknown object, bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene. The suspect was soon detained.

It was revealed that from September to March 2023, the suspect served in the special military operation zone where he acquired his combat skills.
