A Moscow police officer stole 70,000 rubles through a banking app from a migrant he had detained, transferring the money to his wife. This was reported by Baza.

According to the publication, a member of the special police unit, along with his colleagues, detained a group of migrants. During the document check, he took the phone of one of the detainees, accessed the banking app, and transferred all the funds from the account to his wife. The police officer then deleted the app and returned the phone to the foreigner.

Later, the victim returned to the police and reported the actions of their colleague. The special police unit member initially denied any wrongdoing, but after being called to the internal security department, he confessed to everything. As reported by Baza, the man has already been dismissed from service.
