Zelensky Arrives at U.S. Congress for Negotiations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived at the U.S. Congress to discuss the continuation of financial assistance to Kyiv. The arrival of the Ukrainian leader was broadcast by CNN
He was accompanied by the leaders of the Democratic and Republican factions, Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell. The politician also has a planned meeting with the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson.
Additionally, White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby reported that on December 12th, U.S. President Joe Biden and his Ukrainian counterpart plan to discuss the situation on the battlefield.
Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the Kremlin would be very attentive to Zelensky's meeting with the American president.
