According to available information, 37-year-old Bikua-Mfantse was knocked out at a party to which he was invited by students from an Olympic reserve school. No details about the cause of the conflict are provided, but the former athlete avoided serious injuries.

Bikua-Mfantse was born in Moscow in 1986. In 2007, as part of the Russian national team, he won the European Championship in Poznan and also became the first black athlete to win a regatta in Lucerne.
