Russian Foreign Ministry Responds to Israeli Ambassador's Statement on Evacuation of Russians from Gaza
Zakharova: Moscow Shocked by Israeli Ambassador's Statement on Evacuation of Russians from Gaza

Moscow was shocked by the statement of the Israeli Ambassador to Russia, Alexander Ben Zvi, regarding the evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip. This was conveyed by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by RIA News.
The diplomat added that such logic is unacceptable, and Russia cannot comprehend why the evacuation process for its nationals remains blocked despite Moscow's efforts.
"We are doing everything necessary — I want to emphasize again — everything is prepared on our part for the evacuation of Russians and compatriots who have sought our help to leave the region," noted the representative of the ministry.
Earlier, Ben Zvi had stated that the coordination of the evacuation of Russians from the Gaza Strip could take up to two weeks. He mentioned that this restriction was set by the Egyptian side.
